Diversity, both professionally and demographically, is an important aspect of our staff at CA, as we believe that our staff are best able to assist our clients when they can understand and reflect a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We employ a staff of about 70 individuals who represent a variety of health care professions and credentials.
Some of our key staff are:
Gary Morse, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Morse has been active in the mental and behavioral health community since 1981 through service, evaluation, and administration. He has been involved in designing and implementing innovative treatment approaches such as assertive outreach, ACT, and IDDT for those who are homeless and have dual disorders. In addition to serving as a federal investigator on multiple grant projects and publishing over 50 professional articles, he has worked closely with SAMHSA as a consultant on establishing ACT services across the nation. He has written papers and made presentations for HUD, HHS, NIMH, and SAMHSA.

In addition to direct clinical experience, he has over 12 years of experience with Missouri DMH developing psychiatric and substance abuse policy across the state. He previously served as the lead adult policy coordinator on the Missouri Mental Health Transformation Initiative out of the governor's office. He is currently involved in the Regional Health Commission's Behavioral Health Initiative which seeks to reduce stigma surrounding mental illness, improve access to care, and increase cultural competency.
